Louis J. Morledge, MD
Louis Morledge is a lifelong resident of New York City. His hospital residency, professional training and education have all been accomplished here earning him an invaluable network of colleagues in the widest variety of medical specialties. In addition to his passion for primary care, Dr. Morledge has an interest in Travel Medicine that began while interning in several East African hospitals. Today, he both prepares outbound travelers and treats international visitors to New York City. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, a Clinical Professor at New York Medical College, and has attending privileges at New York University Langone Medical Center, Lenox Hill Hospital and Winthrop University Hospital in Garden City, NY. He also enjoyed admitting privileges at St. Vincent’s Hospital in New York City before its closure in the spring of 2010. He is a consultant to the United Nations for Internal and Travel Medicine and is an Honorary Police Surgeon for the New York City Police Department. He is an active member of his professional societies (see below), and is interviewed and quoted frequently by national media outlets. He also lectures nationally to corporations and at conferences on all aspects of internal and travel medicine.

Melissa Favis, holds an M.S. in Physician Assistant Studies from DeSales University in Center Valley, PA. She graduated from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey in New Brunswick, NJ with a B.S. in Exercise Science and Spanish. Ms. Favis is licensed to practice medicine in New York State, is NCCPA certified, and a member of American Academy of Physician Assistants and Pennsylvania Society of Physician Assistants.
Yelena Dekhtyar is a certified medical assistant, EKG technician and license phlebotomist. She graduated the Mendl School in New York and interned at HIP center in Brooklyn during her training. She has 17 years experience working in large medical practices in New York City including the Carnarsie Medical Center and the Madison Medical Center prior to joining the Morledge Medical staff.
Mary-Ann Buckley is a certified Medical Assistant with over 20 years experience in healthcare facilities. She did her clinical at New Mexico Medical Group. Mary-Ann graduated in 1991 from Molloy College, Rockville Centre,NY with a B.A. in Biology.
Ida Perez joined the staff in 2013. She is originally from Brooklyn, New York and has worked in the medical field for nearly 10 years. She attended Pima Medical Institute in Las Vegas, Nevada for medical assistance and medical administration (MAA). The two things she enjoys is working at Morledge Medical and spending time with her childhood sweetheart Noel, they recently married in 2012.
Laura Molina recently moved to New York City from Florida to pursue her master’s in forensic science at John Jay College of Criminal Justice. Her undergraduate education was in molecular biology and biotechnology. She dreams of working as a forensic scientist and traveling the world.
Jill Sullivan is a recent graduate of New York University, where she majored in Romance Languages, with a concentration in French and Spanish. She’s an aspiring nurse who hopes to use her language skills both at home and abroad. Her ultimate goal is to become an NP, focusing on families or gerontology. She eventually hopes to start her own clinic and community center in under-served rural and urban settings. She also hopes to write and illustrate children’s books in the future. Jill enjoys the arts, the French countryside, and adventure.
Danvy Truong is a student currently situated in Brooklyn, New York. She has a background in Cell and Molecular Biology and aspires to become a genetic counselor.
