Dr. Louis J. Morledge is one of NYC’s leading physicians in Internal Medicine. He received his BA from the esteemed University of Pennsylvania in 1986 and pursued his education at New York Medical College, where he was awarded his Medical Doctorate in 1990. He completed his training and residency at one of the city’s premier institutions, Lenox Hill Hospital, and a primary care fellowship at St. Vincent’s Hospital, while serving as a physician for the National Health Service Corps. In addition to being a Fellow of the American Academy of Physicians and a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Morledge has been board-certified in internal medicine since 1994.

In addition to his private practice in midtown Manhattan, Dr. Morledge is an attending physician at NYU Langone Hospital, Lenox Hill Northwell Hospital, and Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, NY. He is also a clinical assistant professor of internal medicine at New York University School of Medicine as well as his alma mater, New York Medical College. In addition to his passion for primary care, Dr. Morledge has an interest in Travel Medicine, originating with an internship in Kenya. Today, he prepares outbound travelers and treats international visitors to New York City. Dr. Morledge is a consultant to the United Nations for Internal and Travel Medicine and is an Honorary Police Surgeon for the New York City Police Department. He is an active member of the American College of Physicians, serving as the President of the NYC Chapter and holding a leadership role on the Health & Public Policy Committee for the past ten years.  Dr. Morledge is a well-respected medical educator, developing numerous teaching criteria for the more than 50 Physician Assistant students Morledge Medical has hosted during their final rotations at Seton Hall University.

Dr. Morledge is an engaging and highly sought-after speaker who has given numerous presentations for academic and private institutions on a variety of topics, including all aspects of internal and travel medicine.  Additionally, he is frequently interviewed and quoted by national media outlets.

Dr. Morledge has consistently been named a Castle Connolly Top Regional and Top NY Metro Doctor for nearly a decade, and included in New York Magazine’s Top Doctors issue since 2013.
