When planning a trip, the last thing you want to think about is illness. Immunizations are one of the best ways to protect yourself from serious diseases, many of which can be life threatening.
The purpose of a vaccine is to stimulate the body’s defense system in order to prepare it for a future encounter with an infectious disease.
The Immunization Practices Advisory Committee of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends that all persons be up-to-date on routine immunizations prior to possible additional travel vaccinations. Please bring any information about your vaccination history to your appointment at Morledge Medical®.

*An International Certificate of Vaccination (Yellow Card) may be required before entry to certain countries.
**Cholera vaccine is no longer required for international travel, however proof of cholera vaccination may be a condition of entry into some countries.
